What is the Fund Raising Committee?

This committee develops the overall fund raising plan for The Zonta Foothills Club. It organizes and implements all fund raising activities that involve the membership and our community. Some of these include The Amelia Earhart Dinner, The Foothills International Holiday Market, local raffles, and new in 2007, the shopping portal web site iGive.

One of the major goals of the Fund Raising Committee is to insure annual fund raising for our Bev Hackbart Scholarship. It monitors the revenue growth of the scholarship and administers annual drives to build principal in the fund to enable a tuition scholarship to the University of Colorado for a single parent.

The dollars raised by this committee, together with proceeds from our annual Author’s Luncheon, fund our Bev Hackbart Scholarship, as well as international and local projects that improve the lives of women and girls.
