KAY MEYER ELECTED DISTRICT 12 GOVERNOR

           Kay Meyer was unanimously elected as Zonta District 12 Governor on October 31, 2009 at the District 12 Conference in Denver, Colorado.  She was elected by delegates from District 12 Zonta clubs throughout Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota and Montana.  She will hold this esteemed office for two years beginning June 1, 2010.  Kay has been an active and valuable Zonta Foothills member for over fourteen years.  She was instrumental in forming the Zonta Foothills Foundation and has held many offices in the Club including President and has chaired many committees.  She is currently Lt. Governor of District 12 and active in every aspect of our Club, including serving on the Advocacy Committee.  She is filled with innovative ideas, is a great leader and has been consistently involved in Zonta at the District and International levels.  We are very proud to support Kay and call her one of our own!  Congratulations, Kay!
