  • Advocacy Committee

    Co-Chairs: Lisa Lesniak & Sandy Weeks

    The Advocacy Committee focuses on our three primary pilars, Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women, Zonta Says NOW to Climate Action and legislative action supporting actions like support of the ERA, chilcare, pay equity, the fight against Child Marriage,.

    The Advocacy Committee implements programs to promote positive change for women, creates the Club’s strategic direction to impact policy and educate out community. The Committee makes our annual recommendation for our contribution to Zonta International service funds. 

  • Educatez Committee

    Committee Co-Chairs: Co-Chairs: Gaby Lopez & Claudia Ibarra

    The Educatez Committee coordinates and funds leadership programs in our community. They mentor all activities of our Boulder High PantherzZ Club, Watershed School Z Club, Flatirons Golden Z Club and Platinum Z Club. This includes all Club planning, support of the ZClub interns, management of ZClub budgets and coordination of the Pantherz Z Club Scholarships and Golden Z Club Scholarships and The Golden Z Education Fund.

    Zonta EducateZ was launched in 2012 to support the education of women and girls in our community. Through scholarships, mentoring and direct support we work to empower women and girls continue and succeed at their education.

  • Educatez Scholarships Committee

    Co-Chairs: Marta Lindrose & Sue Stapleton

    The Educatez Scholarship Committee manages the administration for the scholarships offered by the Zonta Foothills Foundation. The committee administers each scholarship during a calendar year, sets deliverable dates each year, communicates with potential applicants, selects winners and coordinates awards/meetings for winners to attend Club meetings.

  • Donor Development

    Co-Chairs: Nancy Rowe, Ranelle Randles, Pam Malzbender

    The Donor Development Committee plans and manages all fundraising activities for our Foundation. They coordinate our fundraisers, support the implementation of Colorado Gives, provide strategies to secure organization sponsors, aand maintains communication with donors. The Donor Development Committee works with the Marketing and PR Committee to create messaging and develop fundraising materials.

  • Marketing and PR Committee

    Co-Chairs: Kathy Hundman & Pam Malzbender

    The Marketing and PR Committee gets the word out. They coordinate social media, design and develop written materials and manage our website. The Committee promotes the “Zonta '' brand in the community through advertisements, articles submitted to newspapers, magazines and web based media. They publicize all Club events and create PR materials, contacting and updating print and online community calendars, submitting newsworthy information to the media and other local sources.

  • Member Relations

    Chair: Colleen Farrell

    The Member Relations Committee helps the Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County reach its full potential through recruitment and member engagement. This committee helps to grow our Club membership by recruiting capable, diverse and enthusiastic women who share a complementary mix of skills. It also engages all members in the Club’s work Club through ongoing education about The Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County and Zonta International programs at all levels.
