Z Clubs & Golden Z Club Inspire Leaders

Established in 1948, the Z Club and Golden Z Club program is one of Zonta International's longest-running programs. Our Boulder High School Pantherz Z Club and our Flatirons Golden Z Club help high-school, college, and university students develop leadership skills, promote career exploration and encourage members to participate in community, school, and international service projects.

Founded in 2012, our Boulder High School Pantherz Z club has seen over 276 students graduate from high school with 95% continuing on to a two or four-year accredited institution and 65% continuing on as members of our Flatirons Golden Z Club. In 2025 we are proud to charter our newest Club at The Watershed School.

The Boulder High School Pantherz Z Club recently celebrated 10 years or younger leaders.

Zonta members, Boulder High School Pantherz Z Club members and alumni, and Boulder High School faculty and community members gathered to induct our new club members and celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Boulder High School Pantherz Z Club. The Watershed School Z Club

Recently we chartered a second Club at The Watershed School. This group of young leaders has already started participating in local service projects like our feminine hygiene product drive and Share-a-Gift and they are planning their spring activities now.

The Flatirons Golden Z Club was chartered in January 2016.

Its members are college-aged women who are committed to service and advocacy. Members are students from a cluster of Colorado colleges and universities, including CU Boulder, CU Denver, Metropolitan State University, Front Range Community College, Community College of Denver, and Colorado Mesa University.

In addition to participating in local service and advocacy projects, The Flatirons Golden Z Club supports our Z Club programs, mentors the high school students and supports one another focusing on connection, character, caring and community.
