Develop Future Leaders

We strive to ensure every woman has access to education & resources that will put them in positions of influence.

In addition, we want to see more women represented in decision-making positions.

We hope that our Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship and Young Women in Public Affairs Award programs, which offer the potential for recognition at our Club, District, and International level, speak to the next generation of women leaders. Additionally, each year we spotlight the work of our Amelia Earhart Fellows at the University of Colorado; these talented innovators are paving the way for women in the future of the aerospace industry and growing space economy.

To Develop Future Leaders, Zonta Foothills Club Will:

- Support our Z Clubs, Golden Z Club and Platinum Z Club through funding and mentorship.

- Grow our local scholarship programs for high school seniors, college students, women returning to education and single parents.

- Elevate the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship and Young Women in Public Affairs Award programs by promoting the awards to all schools in our community and by increasing the local award stipend so  both are competitive and valuable.

- Promote our Amelia Earhart Fellows in our community, give them a platform to share their work and recognize their accomplishments.

- Embrace the views and voices of all generations and communities through membership, fellowship and collaboration.

- Encourage all generations and communities to participate through Club leadership roles and to contribute actively at all levels of our Club and Foundation.

- Mentor young members in our Z Clubs and our Foothills Club to develop leadership skills.
