Represent Global Citizenship

Zontians  always reflect on the principles of global citizenship.

We work to advance understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship and serve our community, our nation and the world.

We will partner with organizations that share our vision of a better world for women and girls. The UN reports that climate change may push up to 158.3 million more women and girls into poverty (16 million more than the total number of men and boys) making them vulnerable targets of human trafficking, gender violence, child marriage, and climate justice.

In April 2021, Zonta International published its Statement on Climate Change: A Gender Equality Issue, signaling our concern for this issue and promoting climate justice and demonstrating that our global behaviors impact women all over the world.

To Represent Global Citizenship, Zonta Foothills Will:

2

Promote Zonta Says NOW to Gender-Equal Climate Action and launch climate-related  actions to our service and advocacy projects.

3

Combat gender-based violence, human trafficking and child marriage.
